Funny Engrish

"What the ...?"

“What the …?”

There are few things quite as amusing as English captions on Japanese products: tee-shirts, merchandise bags, food wrappers, storefront signs, etc. On our trip to Japan in the summer of 2012, one of our favorite past-times became hunting for the most hilarious “Engrish” signs–and we found plenty! (Mind you–we are not mocking the Japanese people. We are Japanese, after all. We are simply enjoying their earnest but comical efforts to write all things in English.) It’s comforting to know that Charlie has not abandoned this important family tradition. Have a look at some of his latest finds. (Click on any photo to enlarge.)
